The American Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, will pay an official visit to Tirana. The American authorities announced that the American Secretary of State will visit Albania this week in the period February 14-17.
But today it is reported in the media that Blinken will arrive in Tirana on February 15, when the plane is expected to land at Rinas airport.
Diplomatic sources inform that during the visit to Tirana, Blinken will hold a meeting with the head of SPAK, Altin Duman.
It happens for the first time that a Secretary of State meets a head of the Prosecutor's Office. In this meeting, Blinken aims to show and reiterate US support for the Special Prosecutor.
We emphasize here that the arrival of Blinken is immediately after the attempt to establish the anti-SPAK commission by the majority, beyond the sale as support for the government.
His visit to Tirana comes after CNA reported that the majority with a group of 99-men and former "volunteers" of Enver were preparing a commission to fight SPAK, the Structure of the fight against Crime and Corruption, built with the funding of the citizens of USA and EU.
After his visit to Albania, the American Secretary of State will leave for Germany./ CNA
