Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha gave several messages to the citizens during his speech to the protesters from the balcony of the house.

Berisha said that PD will win again, as he emphasized that the attacks will make him stronger in the confrontation.

"We are facing an open aggression against the opposition. The president is not allowed to have his name on the ballot and is arrested in the most political process documented in European history. We have been attacked by the party courts that hold the party seal hostage. We are attacked by some of the biggest media in the country who say that the opposition is to blame for the government's sins.

But it is these difficulties that have activated our Albanian DNA and as Albanians we give strength to face everything invincibly. It is these attacks that awaken the lion within us and give us the courage to face the hyenas and we have tried that.

We have won twice, actually three times, in the most unlikely conditions and we will win again. We will win for the future of Albanian youth, for democracy, for Albania. Dear democrats, I bow before you with the deepest gratitude.

At my age, at an age when I thought I had seen everything in life, you gave me the chance to experience the most powerful emotions. You inspired me by standing in front of every attack that was made against the DP as a real giant of the national interest", he said.

The chief democrat also called on citizens to participate in the protest organized by the opposition on February 20./ CNA
