The deputy of the Democratic Party, Agron Gjekmarkaj, was invited this Monday to an interview for Euronews Albania to talk about the meeting of the national council of "Reestablishment", which took place today with the presence of 34 opposition deputies.

Gjekmarkaj, asked by Mirela Milori how he considers Sali Berisha, said that he is the leader of the opposition, which is bigger than the Democratic Party itself, but still there are things on which they cannot agree.

"I have accepted that Mr. Berisha is the head of the opposition of Albania and the opposition is bigger than the Democratic Party, so in this context, as long as the majority of the democrats recognize him as the leader, neither I nor the group of deputies have any difficulty in accepting him as such.

But not necessarily we agree on some things that are nuances that preserve diversity, but unite us in common causes of oppositionism for which Albania needs to have a strong opposition".
