The 40 safe DP MPs are revealed
The Central Election Commission approved three coalitions a day ago for the parliamentary elections on May 11, 2025.

Among them is the one titled "Democratic Party, Alliance for a Greater Albania" led by Sali Berisha's DP. In total, 25 other parties are part of this coalition, in addition to the DP.

The main allies of the DP are Ilir Meta's PL, Shpëtim Idrizi's PDIU, Fatmir Mediu's PR, Agron Duka's PAA, etc., who will have 8 safe places on the DP list.

CNA is bringing an approximate number of safe Democratic Party MPs.

A little earlier we published the 15 names for Tirana which include: Sali Berisha, Jozefina Topalli, Belind Këlliçi, Ilir Meta, Albana Vokshi, Edi Paloka, Flamur Noka, Jorida Tabaku, Ilir Alimehmeti, Ilda Zhulali, Shpëtim Idrizi, Fatmir Mediu, Freedom Party, Klevis Balliu, Myslim Murrizi.

We add to this list the 11 regional leaders, Oerd Bylykbashi, Agron Gjekmarkaj, Luçiano Boçi, Gazment Bardhi, Flamur Hoxha, Xhelal Mziu, Tomor Alizoti, Ivi Kaso, Eno Bozdo, Bujar Leskaj, Tritan Shehu.

Also, the main names that emerged as winners from the primaries are: Shkëlzen Ibra, Ina Zhupa, Ramadan Likaj, Alma Buci, Ilir Krosi, Igli Cara, Eduart Sharka, Zija Ismaili, Bledion Nallbati, Gjin Gjoni, Dashnor Sula, Hysen Kadiu, Klevis Balliu and Grigels Muçollari.

In total, there are 40 names, which appear to be potential candidates for DP MPs.

These are almost the majority of the DP deputies in parliament along with the opposition and there are no surprises expected. The surprise could come from the open list race.
So the majority of the winners are already known.
