"He expelled Albanians and imprisoned opposition leaders"/ Berisha

The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, met in Milan with the Coordinator for Foreign Relations of Forza Italia, Ludovico Seppilli. In this meeting, Berisha emphasized that he informed Seppilli, who is also the Coordinator of Forza Italia for Relations with the Republican Party in the USA, about what is happening in Albania, where a good part of Albanians have chosen to leave while on the other hand, opposition leaders end up in prison.

Dear friends,
In Milan, together with the President of the Republican Party, Mr. Fatmir Mediu, we met the Coordinator for Foreign Relations of Forza Italia Giovani, also known as the Coordinator for Relations with the Republican Party of the USA for Forza Italiana, Mr. Ludovico Seppilli.

In this meeting, we discussed extensively the traditionally excellent relations between our two political forces, the intensification of these relations, bilateral cooperation and that within the framework of the EPP and IDU.

During the meeting, I introduced Mr. Seppilli to the developments in Albania, the first and only narco-dictatorship in Europe, in which Edi Rama, with his political justice, has imprisoned and persecuted the leaders of three opposition political parties, has taken the mandates of opposition representatives and, with his corruption, has expelled 45% of Albanians from Albania in 10 years.

I also assured Mr. Seppilli that the DP, with the support of its friends like Forza Italia and sister parties, will save the country from the corrupt regime of Edi Rama and return Albania to the path of the rule of law and democracy. sb /CNA
