"I have no intention of taking the leadership or the logo"/ Alibeaj

The chairman of the "Right 1912" Party, together with lawyer Rezart Kthupi, have withdrawn from the recourse to the High Court for the Democratic Party seal.

In the request submitted to the Supreme Court, Alibeaj says that the decision is individual and the recourse was made to other party positions, namely as the commander-in-chief of the DP.

The request further states that Alibeaj has no intention of running the DP, its logo or seal. Now, the letter states, a new entity has been created and registered.

" The decision is individual. At the time I made the appeal, I was in another position, as the acting chairman of the DP. We have created a new political entity, we have registered and we are in a coalition. Since we are another party, I no longer have a legitimate interest in pursuing a process for the logo and seal of the DP."

Because I was once in another position and today I am not in that position. This is a legal request. I have no intention of taking over the leadership of the DP, its logo or seal through the court. My decision is individual and does not affect the intentions of other people who may aim for such a thing , "the letter states./ CNA
