Diaspora Vote/ Balla welcomes 100 thousand requests from Greece

The Political Leader of the Socialist Party for the Diaspora, Taulant Balla, announced today that after Italy, the number of requests to the CEC from Albanians living in Greece has also exceeded 100,000.

Through a post on social media, Balla calls on all those who have been rejected in their application to return to the PER application and understand the reason for the rejection in order to continue with a successful registration.

"Just made 100 thousand requests from Greece, thank you," Balla writes.

But he says that there are about 13 thousand rejected applications from Albanians from this country.

"Please, there are 13 thousand rejected requests from Greece alone and in these remaining 24 hours you must return to your PER account and address the reason for the rejection by the CEC. It is very simple and I am sure you can put the right document, or even the right page of the address document. You must register, do not miss this historic moment for our Albania in the European Union."

Balla also emphasizes the registration deadline.

"Today is the last day of diaspora registration to vote by mail until May 11. Registrations so far have exceeded expectations, with over 226,000 requests approved as of Tuesday morning, but over 42,000 requests rejected in total. Earlier, the Political Director of the Diaspora in the Socialist Party, Taulant Balla, announced that the CEC has also made available assistance by phone through the CEC reservation link," Balla said./CNA
