"Elections create dissatisfaction"/ Kikia comments on the primaries:

Analyst Mentor Kikia commented on the Democratic Party's Primary process. Kikia emphasized that elections always create dissatisfaction among the losers, however, he added that they should now cooperate with the winners for the good and continuity of the party, especially before the May 11 elections.

"Elections within a political party are a good thing. I see it as a positive process. The DP is in crisis, as it is in opposition and no one wants to join an opposition party. Seen in this light, Berisha would not want to have a list of 1,000 people and choose 200 people as candidates.

It would be a difficult choice, because everyone would have claims. Elections within the party will create dissatisfaction, because we do not have good experience with elections. Whoever loses the elections within the party must accept the result and must cooperate with the winner.

"But I believe there is a deadlock, as the Balkan remnants cannot be eliminated. In other parties, internal elections have not been held. The model with semi-open lists was chosen, where the chairman puts on the list whoever he wants," said Kikia. /CNA
