Erion Veliaj admits: I risk 27 years in prison

Arrested Mayor Erion Veliaj has reacted again from his cell. In his status, Erion Veliaj admits that he risks 27 years in prison in total, divided into 12 and 15 years of imprisonment respectively .

Erion Veliaj also admits to the thefts for which he is accused by prosecutor Ols Dado, in 9 cases of "Passive Corruption of high-ranking state officials or local elected officials", committed in collaboration and "Laundering of the proceeds of criminal offenses or criminal activity" more than once.

Judge Bani reasons that since Ols Dado accuses me of crimes punishable by 12 and 15 years - that is, 27 years in prison - I would flee Albania. Yes, yes, read it: "A logical legal conclusion can be reached in the form of reasonable possibility, on the real possibility of fleeing if no intervention is made to impose a coercive measure on this citizen."
