The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, said today that he has declared 2025 as the 'year of the diaspora'.

Berisha, in today's press conference, emphasized this event, which he considered important for the political life of Albania.

Berisha said that this is the year of the free boys, girls, men, and women of the diaspora who will come to overthrow the dictatorship.

"The second major political development is the declaration of 2025 as the year of the diaspora.

So, 2025 will go down in our national history as the year of the Albanian diaspora.

You have not been to the meetings I have had in Italy, in Greece, but I guarantee that in your life you have never seen, and your imagination cannot capture, the enthusiasm, the explosion of enthusiasm in these meetings.

An extraordinary explosion, an unprecedented explosion, a positive energy, an optimism that, if we use a figurative term, almost broke the walls of the hall and the stadium.

The diaspora living in free countries has an absolute determination to overthrow the narco-dictatorship, and I tell you that these 200,000 or so who have registered will be followed by at least another 200,000 who will flood in from all over Europe to come and exercise their right to vote.

It is the year of the diaspora.
