The chairman of the Social Democratic Party, Tom Doshi, held a meeting in Milan, Italy, in the context of the parliamentary elections on May 11. The PSD leader emphasized that other parties fill the halls by bringing people by plane, while adding that people in Albania lack hospital services and medicines.

"Other parties bring people on planes to fill the halls. We had actually planned for 500 people, but here you have more than 1,000 people. They come here and make promises, "your door is open," but why should they open the door when Italy and Europe have already opened the door for you.

They come out and brag and say we have built hospitals, we don't need beautiful buildings, we need services. People who are sick with cancer don't have medicine. One million and 400 thousand people participated in the last elections, of which 800 thousand are pensioners, 200 thousand are on social assistance.

A family of six people gets 80 euros, a child gets 12 euros. Is that how we want to enter Europe? Think about a million Albanians who are suffering, don't think about me or the PSD. Think about the Albanians", said Doshi. /CNA
