DP MP Ina Zhupa has won the primary race in the Vlora district with 765 votes.

After the victory, Zhupa shared a message expressing gratitude for the victory while emphasizing that everyone must now work together for the victory of May 11.

"I thank all the Democrats who trusted me by giving me the first place in the Vlora District, the most voted with 765 votes from the Democrats of this district.

I would like to especially thank the Democrats of Saranda, Delvina, Konispol, Finiqi, where I was the winner in every municipality, which are actually my electoral zone, the ones I represent in the assembly. Also the Democrats of Vlora, Selenica and Himara for the support they gave me.

This for me is a responsibility for another mandate in the Albanian parliament, but this time we hope and will all work together to have a majority for the Democratic Party, where each of us will be part of the victory of the DP.

"I want to thank the other 12 candidates who participated in the Vlora district primaries for a quality race, for a race without conflicts and at the end of this process, let us all work together for the victory of the DP on May 11th," declared Ina Zhupa./ CNA
