What happens after the primaries? Alimehmeti: The Presidency should balance

The Chairman of the DP Councilors in the Tirana Municipal Council, Ilir Alimehmeti, invited to Syri TV, spoke about the DP primaries.

Alimehmeti said that at the end of the process, contribution will be balanced with productivity.

Alimehmeti further said that the representatives for the DP should be from different backgrounds. The doctor also said that maximum productivity is needed on May 11th.

" The forum is the leadership, it was discussed in the national council and approved, in the end, what happens is that it balances contribution with productivity."

At the end of the day, we have the important contribution from where we start, but we also have the productivity from the other side that we want on May 11, because in the end, we also want productivity.

Ideally, we would like to have a candidate with maximum contribution and productivity. We said from the beginning that perfection is difficult to achieve. Therefore, it is up to the leadership now to balance.

It may happen that due to the vote, there will be imbalances at the regional level.

For example, how is it possible for Vora to win against the Municipality of Tirana? Is there a chance, sometimes? With a vote, you will never have a representative from Vora, but you will also give them their own representative.

You can have imbalances in the level of representation at different professional levels, because you need economists, lawyers, experts in agriculture, tourism, health, education, security. So you need to have all of these.

You need to have representatives of different strata, whether ethnic or religious, because this is ultimately a parliament, representation, and you will address these strata tomorrow, these groups if they support you with votes to win the elections.

So you have to have representatives, and we didn't necessarily manage with that one cross.

We need to balance to have maximum productivity for May 11th.

This is how we should see it, each of us is a small part of something bigger.

We must go to the big one and keep our eyes on it," said Alimehmeti./ CNA
