The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, delivered his speech at the opening ceremony of the "ITB Berlin" fair, where he presented Albania as a tourist destination. Rama emphasized that Albanians treat tourists like God, and said that if you want to meet a God in the role of a taxi driver, then tourists should go to Greece and not Albania.

"We have been and are a country with all religions, Muslims, Catholics and Orthodox. Our ancestors stood with the Jews and refused to hand them over to the Nazis. Whoever knocks on the door of an Albanian's house does so by the will of God and by opening the doors we await a friend who is welcomed as God, if you want to know how you feel as God, come to Albania.

"If you want to meet God as a taxi driver, go to Greece. Why should Germans visit Albania? If you don't believe me, believe "Der Spiegel" which is ready to be unfair to me, but says that Albania should be visited for Ksamil, Butrint or Valbona," Rama said. /CNA
