The political leader of Tirana for the Democratic Party, Belind Kelliçi, has denounced a trip by the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, with his directors.

Referring to the message of a subordinate of Veliaj, Kelliçi said that the mayor traveled to Switzerland on July 14, 2023, together with the directors of the "5D" file.

According to him, Veliaj, Taulant Tusha, Redi Molla, Mariglen Qato, Ermal Kapllanaj, Arben Maloku and Elton Kacidhja spent 100 thousand francs for one weekend.

"While the protests had started, I thank an honest employee of the Municipality of Tirana who brings valuable information to SPAK: 'Look a little in the TIMS system on July 14 of last year. Has Erion Veliaj traveled together with the directors of '5D' to Switzerland? Look at the hotels they stayed in and did they spend 100,000 francs just for a weekend in Switzerland or not?!'
