Disinformation Commission/Brace: Battle with the media, not against it

This Wednesday, the constitution of the Special Commission for Disinformation took place.

The chairman of the commission, Erion Braçe, said that this commission is not against the media. He stated that the fight against disinformation is a battle together with the media and therefore, according to him, media representatives will be invited to this commission.

"Beyond the formal decisions of the Assembly, the establishment of this commission is supported by important documents. I want to emphasize that this commission does not aim to persecute either individuals, or organizations, or free speech, but will recognize, collect data and analyze findings and organize a social critical mass of public and private institutions to responded in such a way, organized, to an organized war of unfriendly states and their malignant goals, added also because of the war in Ukraine and to Albania as a key pro-Western factor of stability in the South-Eastern Europe member of NATO and in negotiations with the EU", emphasized Braçe./ CNA
