The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha

The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, spoke this Sunday afternoon about the "non-grata" sanction of Great Britain against him.

Berisha said that he has sent all the evidence that refutes the accusations made as shameful, but claims that they have disappeared.

He declared that he will not give up, but will continue the battle for the lifting of the sanction, stressing that he has faith in British justice.

"I want to clarify from the beginning when Secretary Blinken designed Sali Berisha and his family members to stop entering the USA, I have established two principles. First, no lobbying, zero. The second principle sued in court for defamation against the secretary of DASH, Antony Blinken.

When this decision was repeated in Great Britain, I stated that maybe the decision was based on the 5 eyes treaty, the Anglo-Saxon countries follow the same decision for security issues. But Alistar-King Smith along with Norman Duncan, who are the main actors of this act, reacted and said we have our facts.

Since you say I lost it, it is not known whether I lost it or not. Why? I ask you and my compatriots in Britain to listen a little to what SIAC writes about this process. In paragraph 9 of its decision, SIAC says: The second preliminary matter that came out of the Home Office department, ie SIAC did not consider the thousands of pages of evidence submitted by my lawyers and three witness statements which refuted the British dossier.

My lawyers have submitted in time in accordance with the agreement every document requested and the Home Office department, what it has done, has accepted them, but has not presented them to the secretary as SIAC says in its decision in Article 9 to the secretary that she don't know the truth. The second major issue that emerged is that the Home Office's request that three statements and thousands of pages of documents containing evidence should not be accepted because they have not been presented to the secretary.

Now here we are dealing with an atavism that unfortunately originated in London three centuries ago called the kangaroo trial. I am convinced that this position of SIAC is dictated by the law, and it is not a writing of the law by the judge. I have brought every piece of evidence that refutes the accusations made as shameful.

I have the document that I submitted to my lawyers, that the employee who signed for my exclusion, asks the office of Norman Duncan, the former British ambassador to Albania, where you base this decision, he tells him that they are diplomatic telegrams. When the employee asks for these diplomatic telegrams, he is told that they have disappeared.

They had not disappeared, because they cannot disappear, but since they had no evidence, they preferred to say that they had disappeared. I wanted to sue the Home Office secretary for defamation over the decision against me, but lawyers told me that you can't bring a case to the British system without going through SIAC, and I followed that advice.

If there was a system that accepted my claim, I wouldn't be at SIAC at all and the British parliament made a report. In this report, the British Parliament says that the gangsters of the pyramid firms of 1997 in Tirana, that the bankers, financiers of the City who behaved identically to the gangsters of Tirana did not suffer anything, while in Tirana they were put in prison.

My battle continues, and I still have faith in British justice, I will consult my lawyers.

I will still pursue the case with the British parliament, with the British media, those who want to go to the truth, to investigate are very welcome, I will not stop my battle. I did not fight for the right to travel to Britain, but I did it to fight the official Albanian-British mafia", underlined Berisha./ CNA
