In a press conference from the headquarters of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta spoke about his divorce with Monika Kryemadhi.

Meta said that Kryemadhi's attitudes have damaged the causes of the Freedom Party.

He emphasized that her attitudes are opposite to the party's line and have caused many problems.

The head of PL clarified that they are not separating because of another woman. He also apologized to his children for this decision. 

"You are familiar with my decision on divorce, it was motivated by irreconcilability in relation to the future of Albania. Her attitudes are opposite in relation to the party line and have caused numerous problems. I am not breaking up with one woman for another woman. , but to fulfill the causes that I have. I apologize to my three children. I took this decision to the end of the battle with the mafia. My whole life politics is dedicated to the European integration of Albania. I am dedicated to the ideals of the people of March 2, we will fight this battle against the international mafia and local mercenaries", said Meta./ CNA
