In an interview for CNA TV, PD vice-president Luciano Boçi commented on the situation within the Democratic Party and emphasized that the solution is to unite with the aim of being a great political force.

"Despite our and other political parties' initiative to create the confederation, there was skepticism and hesitation from parties of the right spectrum, but today they have all fallen because the legal part of the opposition locomotive is decisive in the authority to create coalitions. PD with the restored authority, the tendency is to expand to fight with the majority, presenting itself as a credible alternative to Albanians, not only with vision and ideas, but also as numerical strength vote math and votes are contributions that come from many directions and have their own importance", he said.

Movements within the right for the creation of factions or other opposition parties, for the Vice-President of the Democratic Party, are indicators of the democracy that the Democratic Party has, but at the same time they should come as a reflection of society, otherwise they are only meteors.

"In the nature of the DP, a lot of internal democracy is offered. There are always departures, schisms. Within the DP there are such initiatives because the dimension of freedom of the figures who come to the DP is very large. Perhaps there is a defect, lack of political discipline from the people who join. I don't see it as a flaw, but as a good thing. Political parties should be created in relation to the personal ambitions or desires of party leaders society. In the case where these parties, as they are today, are in most cases part of personal egos, they are certainly meteors that die out quickly, as has happened with many parties", he said.

Boçi also clarified the case of the "non grata" case of the head of the DP Sali Berisha, stating that we are dealing with a commission decision in the United Kingdom and not a court decision and that all this in Albania does not affect the lowering of the profile political leader of Berisha. /CNA
