The former President, Bamir Topi, spoke about the latest political developments. Regarding Berisha's mandate, when asked what will happen to the opposition, Topi stated that nothing will happen.

According to the former President, it will be attempted to be taken as an ace in the political battle.

"Nothing will happen, they will try to take it as an ace in the political battle, if it happens, they will use it in the sense that you limited me and took away my mandate", said Bamir Topi.

Asked about the reports on Berisha, the former President stated in a television appearance that he has not had any communication with the leader of the DP for 12 years.

"I haven't had any communication with Berisha for at least 12 years. I've known him since the 90s. I have divided Berisha into two parts. During the time I was in cooperation with him, the communication was serious. We had official communication. They were deeply serious, cooperative, political communications. Even when I was in the Presidency, it was a correct relationship, then it was politics, I was out of political interests and the roads parted", said the former President./ CNA
