The British government has recently left in force the decision on the "non grata" status for Berisha. Democratic deputy, Luan Baçi, in an interview for CNA TV, with journalist Fabjona Pasho, says that the decision is political and not legal.

"This commission, which is an administrative commission, made the decision to declare Dr. Berisha 'non grata.' were presented outside the deadline by Mr. Berisha's lawyers, which is not true, as they were submitted within the deadline, so they did not take them into account.

They did not consider any of the evidence to consider the case and give it the right to go to court. They simply took for granted those diplomatic telegrams, which could have been about 38 telegrams, but which they could not find. So, the only source of information about the declaration of Berisha 'non grata' has been some media and some newspaper articles, sponsored by George Soros, Edi Rama, or the famous Lulzim Brava.

Seen in this light, I think it is not newsworthy. If I were Dr. Berisha's advisor, I would not have advised him to appeal such a decision, leaving him in oblivion, ignoring him, since the Albanian citizens made the trial, they gave their verdict. This is the purity of the figure of the DP chairman, Mr. Berisha.

He found the honest way. He did not lobby, but complained. It gave a message to all citizens, but also to international politics, that the vote, democracy, should work, regardless of whose decision-making they are. It is not a legal decision, but a political one."

Baçi also commented on receiving the seal and the impact that the decision of the Court of Appeal will have on the democrats.

"It's a very big victory, a credit to the Democrats. There's a lot of optimism. Many Democrats were skeptical, because they thought the stamp would put them ahead. The idea was created that a political party is called a party if it the court decided.

It is not true, the courts have no competence to define a political entity, let alone the governing bodies of this political entity. The courts overruled the will of the citizens, over the will of the voters and blocked the formalization of the DP for about 3 years and made it a power game. Those media that were pro-government and irresponsibly played this game no longer have the luxury.

Today we have a democratic party, which was ready to be an opposition at the level of being an opposition. Finally we have a DP that was finally registered in the court book as a political entity.

Në 3 vite nuk u gjet një gjykatës t’i jepte vulën vulëhumburit Lulzim Basha, por u zvarrit. Sot PD-ja, absolutisht është e bashkuar. Edhe ata demokratë që ishin në mbështetje të Bashës, nuk ishin në fakt në mbështetje të Bashës, por ishin nostalgjikë të flamurit, të vulës, të siglës."

Por, marrja e vulës së Partisë Demokratike, duket se do të shoqërohet me humbjen e mandatit të kryetarit, Sali Berisha, i cili për shkak të masës së sigurisë ndaj tij, nuk ka mundur të shkojë në Kuvend prej 6 muajsh. Deputeti Baçi shprehet se Berisha është i justifikuar për mungesën e tij, megjithatë, çdo vendim që mund të marrë Kuvendi, nuk ndikon te demokratët, pasi ish-kryeministri është politikisht aktiv.  

"Asnjë dëm nuk na bën neve. Çdo lloj mase që mund të marrë kjo mazhorancë, kjo qeveri dhe ky parlament që është kthyer në noter të qeverisë. Në kemi parë dhe jemi dëshmitarë se si Berisha, megjithëse është prej 6 muajsh i arrestuar politikisht dhe i izoluar në banesën e tij, aktiviteti i tij ka qenë i pandërprerë 24/7, në bashkëpunim të ngushtë me strukturat, me drejtues të PD-së, me deputetë, me grup parlamentar, kryesi, por edhe me qytetarët në ‘rrugën e shpresës’. Duke parë këtë situatë të krijuar, nuk ka ndonjë dëm konkret, apo pengesë.

Por, kjo është një padrejtësi shumë e madhe, ka vite që zgjat tashmë. Mazhoranca, pasi u mundua me punën e vulës, me vendimin e gjykatës, nuk pati më hapësirë se si ta zvarriste, patjetër që do të dorëzohet edhe ndaj izolimit politik që i ka bërë Sali Berishës. Nuk mund të izolohet një ish-kryeministër, një ish-president, kryetari aktual i opozitës, pa asnjë fakt. Në 3 vite hetim nuk ka një akuzë që mund të ngrihet kundër tij.

Punë ditësh do të jetë dhe kryetari i PD-së do të dalë, jo vetëm në terren dhe parlament, por edhe në takime me demokratët. Artificat ligjore, pengesat artificiale, kurthet që ngre parlamenti me Lindita Nikollën, duke mos ia krijuar kushtet të shkojë në parlament, sepse qenia deputet nuk është punësim, është mision. Sali Berisha është deputet i parlamentit, ka detyrime ndaj elektoratit dhe duhet të marrë pjesë patjetër në parlament, pavarësisht masës së padrejtë të SPAK-ut për ta izoluar.

Avokatët e zotit Berisha kanë bërë kërkesë të herëpashershme, duke ndjekur të gjitha procedurat parlamentare, që zoti Berisha të paraqitet në parlament, të bëjë punën e vet. Lindita Nikolla e ka detyrim ligjor t'i krijojë kushtet dhe mundësitë, duke e shoqëruar edhe me polici, meqë e kanë merak mos u arratiset Sali Berisha. Nëse ka njeri që edhe t'i thuash ik, nuk ikën, është Sali Berisha dhe s’ka nevojë ta shoqërojnë me polici, por të zbatojnë rregullat dhe ta çojnë në parlament të kryejë detyrën.

Baçi says that the Democratic Party will continue with its opposition battles and the citizens are the ones who make the decisions./ CNA
