In the meeting with the donors, the Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, stated firmly that we must hit crime where it hurts the most. 

Balla underlined that cooperation with Europol and Interpol has increased significantly and should continue.

According to the Minister of the Interior, the Albanian police has cooperated with the law enforcement agencies of other countries for 80 cases. 

"During 2023, 54 criminal organizations were hit, 38 of them were active in the field of narcotics. Let's hit crime where it hurts the most. International cooperation with Europol and Interpol has increased significantly and must continue. We we had 1380 proactive investigations during 2023, we cooperated with law enforcement agencies of other countries on 80 cases, we had 54 joint operations with Interpol, we also have a computer evidence investigation illegal. We have a commitment with Frontex", said the Minister of the Interior./CNA
