The PD Regional Coordinator for Tirana, Klevis Balliu, denounced today from the blue headquarters that the company of the sister of the director of the municipality of Tirana, Mirela Koçollari, has received millions of Lek tenders from this institution.

Balliu explained that "ANK ARCITECTURE shpk" is the entity owned by Albana Koçollari, sister of Mirela Koçollari, who is the General Director in the Directorate of City Promotion near Tirana municipality.

He called on all citizens to join on Friday at 11:00, to participate in the protest that will take place in front of the Tirana City Hall.

In the Municipality of Erion Veliajt, the theft and abuse of the funds of the citizens of Tirana has become routine. Lal djegësi has set up a monstrous corrupt system where his directors and employees give tenders to their own families. The fact that this is a constant repetition indicates that the system is set up. Undoubtedly, as in any institution, not even a procedure can take place without the holder.

What is more shocking is the amnesty granted to Erion Veliaj by the justice bodies, it is shameful for justice to kneel in front of Veliaj. Justice in the hands of the party that holds the leader of the opposition under arrest, without a single fact and without a single charge, does not hold Veliaj under arrest, who has a mountain of evidence and facts as well as concrete charges. And in fact, as a result, Veliaj continues with his system of the chief thief.

The latter has included its sister company by concluding contracts with the municipality of Tirana specifically:

1. Contract dt. December 13, 2019 with object:

Consultancy – Expertise for the assessment of buildings damaged by the earthquake 'Sami Frashëri High School'.

The value of the contract is ALL 3,609,225 with VAT.

3. Contract dt. February 4, 2021 with object:

Lot I: Design study, for the object: 'Requalification of the block bordered by 'Teodor Keko', 'Tom Plezha', 'Mikel Maruli' and 'Loni Ligori' Contract value 3,738,000 ALL including VAT.

In addition to the above contracts denounced even before in the media, on June 7, 2024, Erion Veliaj paid the sister of his director for contract no. 14214/11 with object: 'Study, design, construction, multi-functional center phase 1 + phase 2 + phase 3 in the total value of ALL 7,141,200
