The deputy of the Democratic Party, Ina Zhupa, listed in the Media Commission this Monday all the violations of the director of RTSH, Alfred Peza, who went to today's meeting to report on the 1-year activity of the public television.

While Zhupa was giving her speech, she was interrupted several times by the vice president of the Media Commission, Evis Kushi, who chaired the meeting.

Khushi claimed that Zhupa's accusations were insults and rumours. He told the DP deputy that she is acting as an investigator and prosecutor, while the latter replied that she is acting as the people's advocate.

Excerpts from the debate:

Khushi: You have heard rumors up and down! You are insulting! Not allowed!

Zhupa: I am talking about the misuse of public money.

Khushi: You are insulting! You are doing the investigation, the prosecutor! You are misinforming the public! They are "fake news"!

Zhupa: I am doing the Albanians' tax lawyer and my function as a deputy of the Parliament of Albania.

Khushi: They are rumours! Maintained through the state budget. Television revenues are at an all-time low. You turned RTSH into a personal institution. You used "Facebook" to mock the Albanian opposition, you commented ironically on the "seal" of the gates./ CNA
