The Chairman of the Opportunity Party, Agron Shehaj, reacted with harsh tones to the scandal at the Oncology Clinic, where doctors sold chemotherapy drugs to private hospitals and then referred tumor patients to these hospitals.

Shehaj said in the Parliament that basically, the medicines of the sick have been stolen by the government, not only the doctors involved in this scandal.

He stated that the case with the treatment of tumor patients is disgusting.

According to him, the stolen money of citizens is in the pockets of ministers, deputies, directors, mayors and doctors.

"Basically, you stole the medicines of the sick. Your government steals them. Every day we hear how it is stolen, in every field and level of administration and government. The prime minister steals through offshore companies. He steals the deputy prime minister who is on the run today, steals ministers, steals deputies, steals the mayor of Tirana and the directors, steals deputy ministers. 

Everyone steals as much as they can and where they can. And doctors also steal. It is disgusting when we find out that doctors steal drugs from tumor patients, but in fact those drugs are not only stolen by them. Basically, you stole the medicines of the sick, that money is in your pockets.

I invite you to put your hand in your pocket and you will find the money for stolen medicines, for medical equipment that does not work, for property that you have stolen from citizens, for corrupt tenders, 100 million euros for Check Up, 100 million for sterilization, etc.

What do you think people don't know? Can't see you? Don't they disgust you?", underlined Shehaj.
