"Veliaj is gone, but not his 5D model", Këlliçi: Ben

DP MP Belind Këlliçi has reacted to the Prosecutor's Office's request to impose security measures on 5 Tirana municipality officials and 3 representatives of entities.

In his post, Këlliçi states that the thieving directors in the Tirana municipality continue to follow the model he believes was set up by Mayor Erion Veliaj.

The MP further adds that the Kombinat incident is a case where every tragedy turns into an opportunity to extort citizens. Këlliçi states that what he calls "Ben Maloku's gang" got what they deserved.

Full post:

Veliaj is gone, but not his 5D model!

The den of thieving directors in Tirana Municipality seems to have no end. Under the model set up by Erion Veliaj and his boss Edi Rama, every human tragedy turns into an opportunity to extort citizens.

Such is the case in Kombinat, where, with the justification of earthquake damage, an entire fraudulent system was set up to assess buildings as uninhabitable and pave the way for building permits to be issued to their clients.

Of course, all this at the expense of the residents who found themselves subjected to state violence, displacement, and unjust expropriation.

I take this opportunity to congratulate the citizens of Kombinat and the Group for the Protection of Kombinat (GMK) who strongly opposed the arbitrary dictation and brutal entry of government hands into their pockets, into their homes.

Your resistance is an example of how corrupt power must have its hands cut off before it violates any human and constitutional right.

As for today's gang, Ben Maloku, one of the stars of the Tirana Municipality's thief team and denounced by me permanently for more than two years, got what he deserved. Stealing votes from the citizens of Zall Herri and beyond is a crime that will never be amnestied.

Today, the Tirana Prosecutor's Office has requested security measures for 5 Tirana Municipality officials and three representatives of entities. They are charged with falsifying documents and abuse of office in connection with the process of demolishing buildings in the Kombinat area after the 2019 earthquake.

The names of the officials for whom the Tirana Prosecution has requested arrest measures are: Aurel Boriçi, Eleana Guçe, Aurel Çuko, Rexhina Rakipi and Sokol Qehajaj.

While the three representatives of the entities for whom security measures have been requested are: Aleksandra Mahmutllari, Shyqyri Maloku and Fatmir Firi. /CNA
