People's Advocate Competition/ Ulsi Manja makes public the signatures

Today, the Laws Committee is discussing the candidates who have submitted signatures for the Ombudsman race.

The Chairman of the Laws Committee, Ulsi Manja, has also made public how many signatures each candidate has collected.

Manja said:

Adriana Kalaja has filed her candidacy with 44 MPs' signatures in the Parliament.

Aranita Brahaj has filed her candidacy with 35 MPs' signatures in the Parliament.

Besim Ndregjoni has filed his candidacy with 34 MPs' signatures in the Parliament.

Endrit Shabani has filed his candidacy with 35 MPs' signatures in the Parliament.

Skënderr Haluci has filed his candidacy with 30 signatures of MPs in the Parliament.

Tartar Bazaj has submitted his candidacy to the Assembly with 28 signatures of deputies.

Manja has announced that there are 4 candidates who have submitted signatures to be in the race for Ombudsman, but:

Dardan Mustafaj has deposited 38 signatures but submitted them outside the specified deadline.

Jola Hysaj failed to collect 28 signatures from MPs, securing only 27 of them.

Shkelqim Sulo has managed to secure only 19 signatures, out of 28 that are determined by law.

Saimir Vishaj was also unable to secure 28 signatures from MPs, but only 26 of them./ CNA
