Prime Minister Edi Rama has shared a little of the unknown part of the relationship with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti.

In an interview with the German media outlet DW, Rama said that he and Kurti have a very friendly relationship on a personal level, but with inevitable differences in political perspectives.

Regarding the Kosovo-Serbia situation, Rama stated that Kosovo should focus on fulfilling its duties for the dialogue between the two countries.

"I have a very friendly relationship with Albin on a personal level, but we have inevitable differences in perspectives, and we share these differences openly and directly. In all aspects of cooperation with Kosovo, in interstate cooperation, we have made considerable progress, and we are working together on a major project such as the Durrës-Pristina railway."

To tell you the truth, I understand all the labels that have been placed on me, because they stem from reason and, therefore, I do not take them seriously. Moreover, I am used to this and I have no concern with any kind of labeling, because my relationship is with the truth and with the people who trust me, it is not with the need for everyone to agree or like what I do.

On the other hand, I do not take back any of what I have said, that I do not regret what I have done, because I have done everything out of the national interest and that of Albania.

In my opinion, Kosovo should completely forget Serbia, in the sense that it should unilaterally fulfill all the demands of the dialogue and leave the ball at Serbia's door, telling Europe, all the countries of Europe and those countries that do not yet recognize it, that this is who we are, we fulfilled them, we signed them, now go and get Serbia's signature. But, it should completely separate from Serbia and should not live with the idea of ??Serbia", said Rama. /CNA
