Elections in 5 municipalities/ CEC reviews mayoral candidates on Sunday

The Central Election Commission will hold a public session on Sunday, through which it will review the registration of mayoral candidates in 5 municipalities in the country, as part of the procedures for the local by-elections on November 9.

The October 26th session will be held at 11:30 AM.

Agenda:

1. Draft decision “On the registration of the candidate for mayor in the Municipality of Vlora, Ms. Brunilda Flamur Mersini, candidate proposed by the electoral subject “Socialist Party of Albania”, in the local by-elections for mayor, for several local government units, dated November 9, 2025”.

2. Draft decision “On the registration of the candidate for mayor of the Municipality of Berat, Mr. Ervin Llazar Ceca, candidate proposed by the electoral subject “Socialist Party of Albania”, in the local by-elections for mayor, for several local government units, dated November 9, 2025”.
