The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, made a call to Albanian citizens who live outside the territories of our country.

Balla said from the floor of the Parliament that Albanians who have left Albania for various reasons must declare their current address.

He indicated that the declaration can be made on the government portal "e-albania", where there is a special section for emigrants' addresses.

The minister said that Albanians need to fill in personal identification data, correct data and also need a document certified by the authorities of the country where they live.

" One of the deputies spoke about the declaration of the address of Albanian citizens who live outside the territory of the Republic of Albania. I think that for all of us members of the Assembly of Albania it should be clear that whenever we are given the opportunity to be outside Albania even for private reasons, we should make a joint appeal and ask the Albanians to declare their address. And how can this be done?

The portal exists. If you are going to enter the 'e-albania' portal, you have a special session there, which shows you very clearly how the data is filled. There is a section called "electronic service - declaration of the address of the Albanian citizen who lives outside the territory of the Republic of Albania". All the data are declared there, naturally starting from the personal data of the identification document, to then go to the address and there remains a single document to confirm the address and it is a certified document from the country where it is located. If the citizen is in Greece, a document certified by the local authorities confirming that this person has this address is required. The home country needs to know the address where it is located. This option has been, there are over 12 thousand Albanian citizens who have declared the address where they live", emphasized Taulant Balla./ CNA
