Prime Minister Edi Rama opened this Wednesday the session of the UN Security Council on the topic "Respecting the goals and principles of the UN Charter through multilateralism: "Maintaining the peace and security of Ukraine".

At the beginning of his speech, Rama introduced the countries participating in this meeting, where in addition to the 50 heads of state, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, is also present.

But the Russian delegation interrupted Rama's speech and asked him two questions.

The representative of the Russian delegation asked Rama why he wants to give the floor to the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zeleksy, and why he invited the Foreign Minister of North Macedonia to the meeting.

" You were in a hurry to say, so it was decided. We have two questions. First and foremost, on what basis do you propose to give the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky the floor before the members of the Security Council, most of whom are also represented at the level of heads of state and government.

The second question I want to ask is on what basis do you invite the Foreign Minister of North Macedonia to today's meeting in the capacity of the Chairman of the OSCE ?", emphasized the representative of Russia./ CNA
