President Bajram Begaj did not attend the informal dinner held in Athens on August 21.

Begaj was asked about the rejection of Greece's invitation in a television interview.

The Head of State refused to consider his absence at the informal dinner as a rejection, as he stated that his non-participation occurred due to the predetermined agenda.

" The foreign policy of the Republic of Albania is a commendable policy by the international committee, by the EU and by our strategic partner the USA, it is aligned with the countries of the EU and the USA and this foreign policy is not done overnight.
