Reception at the American Embassy/ Elected MPs at a meeting before the start of the mandate

A reception for the elected members of Parliament from the May 11 elections was held this Wednesday at the premises of the American Embassy in Tirana.

Through a post on social media, the Embassy announced that staff held a meeting today with a focus on the concerns of the communities represented by elected members of the Assembly and to learn more about the priorities of the beginning of the mandate.

The Embassy emphasizes its support for working with elected representatives, continuing our close partnership with Albania.

"United States Embassy staff met with newly elected members of the Assembly to understand their communities' concerns and priorities as they begin their mandate. We look forward to working with elected representatives from across the political spectrum to continue our close partnership with Albania," the announcement said./CNA
