How the Rilindasi coup failed for SPAK and KLSH

On May 30, 2024, the majority with 74 votes in favor approved in the Assembly, the establishment of the so-called Special Parliamentary Commission "For the deepening of reforms for good governance, the rule of law and anti-corruption for Albania 2030 in the European Union". (read here)

On June 14, this commission, under the direction of the last Enverist, Fatmir Xhafaj, held its first meeting. Then he held 4 more meetings, while the last meeting was concluded on July 26. (read here)

The commission is already out of order, with the closure of the Assembly's work, while the last Enveristi will be ready in September to attack SPAK. ( read here)

On the other hand, in September, the subcommittee invented by Eduart Shalsi is expected for a recommendation given by the SSC two years ago. (read here)

So what CNA declared in December of last year and January of this year that there would be commissions to attack independent institutions is happening. It seems clear that we do not have a real strategy to call independent and public institutions to become partners on the path of integration in Europe, but to call them to appeal, to hit them, to do changes in them, to misuse them, or to capture them for personal electoral interests, which are expected to happen only one year later.

A Special Commission was abandoned by the internationals, Fatmir Xhafaj remained exposed in his fight against SPAK and justice. He showed his nervousness yesterday in parliament when he voted against the increase in judges' salaries. (read here)

On the other hand, Eduart Shalsi showed his intention that he would hit the KLSH, simply and only on a report from two years ago to a lady, the Director of the General Budget Directorate, Mimoza Dhëmbi, who has experience from almost 30 years old, but KLSH had a recommendation two years ago and Eduart Shalsi was worried about this. But, more than genuine parliamentary movements, it seems that these are movements to attack independent institutions, for political purposes./CNA
