Rama gathers the anti-SPAK group/ Tomorrow, Xhafaj takes office
Prime Minister Edi Rama

CNA has denounced the majority's attempts to control SPAK and independent institutions with an "Ad-Hoc" commission, which will be headed by Fatmir Xhafaj.

Although it seemed as if it retreated, the majority is continuing the battle against SPAK.

Official sources told CNA that Rama called the meeting of the anti-SPAK group at 09:00, shortly before holding the meeting with the ministers and deputies.

The same sources announced that Fatmir Xhafaj is expected to take up his duties at the meeting at 09:00.

So, the anti-SPAK group is expected to start work tomorrow and this will be the novelty of the meeting of the Parliamentary Group and the ministers.

Everything comes as a battle with SPAK, after the tough fight of this institution against corruption.

On the one hand, Edi Rama and Rilindja talk about supporting SPAK and justice institutions, and on the other hand, they create commissions to fight them.

SPAK

We remind you that the majority has undertaken a series of actions to create an "Ad Hoc" commission.

This 'Ad Hoc' commission, led by Fatmir Xhafaj and a group of 99 members of Rilindah, aims to appeal SPAK or carry out actions, which may lead to legal proposals regarding SPAK or his activity.

Initially, the establishment of this commission was accepted, then it was denied. The Prime Minister held several meetings with Fatmir Xhafajn and the anti-SPAK group.

These movements of the majority alarmed internationals who came out with messages showing open support for SPAK, but also the head of this institution, Altin Dumani.

After strong messages from the USA, EU and Britain, the majority seemed to take steps back, but Fatmir Xhafaj positioned himself again in the fight against SPAK, preparing a draft to attack this institution of justice.

And after preparing the draft, the next step of the majority is tomorrow's meeting of Rama with the anti-SPAK group./ CNA
