On Wednesday, the government approved today the bonuses for the firefighters and for the first time the food treatment is paid to the employees of the state police.

The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, after the government meeting, said that the firefighters will be rewarded with a monthly salary for the end-of-year holidays.

He added that those who have engaged in coping with the fire situation last summer in Greece will be rewarded with two additional salaries.

"I want to underline that all the Albanian firefighters engaged to come to the aid of the Greek state to face the difficult situation of the fires during this summer will be rewarded with two monthly salaries," said the Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, at the end of government meeting.

Likewise, the government approved the decision to pay off the payment of food treatment for every employee of the state police during the time of exercising their duty during working hours and their engagement in missions, operations or coping with civil emergency situations. /CNA
