"DP, chronic loser"/ Rama attacks the opposition from Lezha

In the context of the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Party, Prime Minister Edi Rama has chosen Lezha to convey his next political messages.

For the head of government, the force he leads remains the only one that has not changed its stance in defense of the national interest, while it has not spared criticism of the opposition, which he described as a front of chronic losers.

Looking back at the history of three and a half decades, Rama has made a clear distinction between the path of the Socialists and their political opponents. According to him, the Socialist Party has always been on the right track of history, unlike other political forces that, according to the Prime Minister, have used nationalist rhetoric to hide other actions.

The Prime Minister also focused on the atmosphere of the first pluralist elections. According to him, the Socialist Party has always avoided political revenge, transforming itself into a force that embodies European values.

"They seem like common words, in the sense that it seems the most common and normal thing for a political force to have a solid, unwavering and clear stance in relation to the national interest. But it is not common, because if it were so, it would be characteristic of all political forces in Albania. But this is characteristic only of the SP, because only the SP, which at the beginning, has never moved, not even a millimeter, from the right line of protecting the national interest.

And there are many examples that can be taken for this, but the most meaningful and blatant example in the negative sense is the example that distinguishes the Socialist Party like night and day from its political opponents.

It is as different as day and night, because, as has happened in the history of 35 years, it continues to happen today. The SP is facing a front of opponents, because they leave nothing unsaid to its representatives. They have left nothing unsaid at the beginning, they leave nothing unsaid today and they will leave nothing unsaid until they are who they are: the chronic losers and the spirit of destruction in Albanian politics.

They brutally attacked the SP as a party linked to Serbia, as a servant of Belgrade, but the truth showed something completely different: that the very ones who beat their chests during the day and threw stones at the SP, at night broke the democratic world's embargo on Milosevic and supplied oil to his ethnic cleansing machinery.

Meanwhile, the SP, from the first day of taking over the reins of the country after the unimaginable chaos of 1997, became the strongest and most permanent supporter of the KLA until the end, until the liberation of Kosovo ," Rama said. /CNA
