At today's government meeting, several draft laws and decisions in the fields of economy, administration, and energy were approved.

Specifically, the government has approved the construction of a photovoltaic power generation plant in the village of Povelçë, Fier.

The winning projects financed by the fund for the prevention and management of natural disasters were also approved.

Another decision taken today by the government was an addition to the decision approving the salary structure for a number of positions, such as deputy minister, prefect, civil servant, etc.

The Council of Ministers decided:

-Approval of the construction of a photovoltaic power generation plant and auxiliary works in the village of Povelçë, Dërmenas administrative unit, Fier Municipality, by the company "FOS SOLAR", sh.pk

-Approval of the list of winning projects financed for 2026 by the fund for the prevention and management of natural disasters, as well as the contracting authority for the implementation of the projects.

-The approval, in principle, of the United Nations Cooperation Framework for Albania 2027-2031, between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the United Nations.

-Declaration of "Priority Area for the Development of the Mountain Economy" of several areas in the territories of the Municipality of Gjirokastër and Fier.

-Approval of the Volunteer Code of Ethics.

-An addition to Decision No. 325, dated 31.05.2023 of the Council of Ministers "On the approval of the salary structure, salary levels and other salary supplements of the deputy minister, cabinet officials, prefect, sub-prefect, civil servants and employees in several institutions of Public Administration", as amended.

-Unification of military ranks with organic functions in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania.
