Minister Lamallari: Albanians know well who wants to destroy SPAK

The Minister of Justice, Besfort Lamallari, took his speech in the Assembly, where he said that next year marks 10 years since the adoption of the justice reform.

According to the minister, this is an important moment for the Albanian state, as this initiative gave life to the institutions of justice. He further added that being a candidate country for the EU is thanks to this reform, which according to him was made possible by the SP. Meanwhile, the minister added that unlike the SP, the opposition seeks the annihilation of SPAK and attacks prosecutors and judges.

"Next year marks an important moment for the Albanian state. 10 years since the adoption of the justice reform. An initiative that gave life to new justice institutions.  Albania, like all of Europe, is no longer a utopian call, after the collapse of an oppressive regime. Being a candidate country is thanks to the progress made in implementing the justice reform.

To conclude, I would like to say that it was the Socialist Party that conceived and implemented the justice reform. Albanians know very well who is seeking the elimination of SPAK. We are working to strengthen the standards of justice institutions, including the revision of the Criminal Code”, said Lamallari. / CNA
