Ervin Salianji from Durrës has continued his attacks on the Democratic Party, bringing attention back to the confrontational rhetoric that seems more like a political service to Edi Rama's government than a constructive criticism of the opposition.

This Wednesday, the man who beat the Democrats, the man who divided the DP, Lulzim Basha's man who enriched himself in the opposition, together with Grida Duma, went to Durrës.

From the coastal city, he openly attacked the opposition structures, saying that the DP was incapable of getting citizens to the ballot boxes.

"But dear friends, we must say it openly, another reason is the inability of the opposition, of the DP as the largest opposition force in the country, to be convincing, to bring Albanians to the ballot boxes. The partial elections are a signal," said Salianji.

As a public figure and former MP, Salianji has a responsibility to maintain a constructive discourse and not reduce his speeches to personal attacks.

A party's incompetence cannot be exploited simply to create a public spectacle; citizens expect concrete ideas and strategies for democratic mobilization, not criticism without solutions.

While giving speeches, Salianji ignores his role as part of the opposition structures. It is not enough to criticize, if you are going to really provide solutions you must propose concrete alternatives to strengthen the opposition. Salianji's repeated attacks create the image of a figure more divisive than cooperative.

His rhetoric today only contributes to the division of Democrats, turning the public debate into a blame game, without taking personal responsibility./ CNA
