During the PD leader's speech this afternoon, DP member Erald Kalemaj presented to Berisha three points that concern him and every other member of this party.

Kalemaj said that Berisha should hold the deputies accountable by zone for their failure in the elections.

According to him, MPs who did not achieve the desired results should be dismissed to make way for young people.

He said that this is one of the reasons why Democrats are so unmotivated and demoralized that when elections come, they barely fill the committees.

He also raised concerns that MPs do not hold meetings with the structures and waste time by spending a month in a row and using all their energy to prepare a request for Pelesh, while there are many other issues that could be addressed.

"I thought that when you first started the Podium, all of us as a structure were very enthusiastic that this side of the Democratic Party would take a direction. The MPs would be divided into zones and whoever did not get the right results would be dismissed or not given the opportunity to continue."

It is very easy to live on the salary of a deputy in the opposition, but very difficult for us simple democrats.
This analysis is motivation for us who are young and who have become active without even knowing the government. The moment I see that a person who has not had good results continues and is promoted in the DP, I normally, as a young person, get discouraged. This is the reason why many people are discouraged and we barely manage to fill the committees.

The Democratic Party's resources are being focused only on certain topics. I agree that this government is a thief, but the DP does not have just one department for this. This party that receives 600-700 thousand votes does not have just one topic to talk about. We were surprised that we held an entire meeting just for the dismissal of Niko Peles, an unnecessary waste of our resources.

The structure has a chairman, a secretary, and its own functions. When a chairman is elected in a unit, that person must be a deputy of the area – this creates motivation and continuity. There is no logic in deputies coming for six months and leaving, because we are not able to connect with them.

We need a clear hierarchy, because all the numbers and vote protection are kept by the structure. The sympathizer casts the vote, but if we are not in the committees and do not count the votes, we cannot protect them. These are the three main points I wanted to say.
