DP mocks again/ Will Balla accept the withdrawal of support signatures for the

Gaz Bardhi again referred to the same tactic to burn the candidate who risked being supported by the Socialists in the process of selecting the People's Advocate.

With the same "tactic" of Karagjozi, Gazi announced that several MPs have withdrawn their support signatures for candidate Shabani.

This practice was accepted and certified by the Bushka-Balla majority, in a previous round of elections for the People's Advocate.

The law requires 28 supporting signatures for a candidate to be registered as eligible for voting in the session.

According to simple logic, the strength of the 28 signatures drops as soon as the candidate files the list with the names and supporting signatures.

After this moment, the Assembly has a list of 28 supporters each and after that, the procedures for registering names for voting in the session begin.

But the practice invented by Gaz Bardhi and accepted by Bushka-Balla of withdrawing signatures after support has been registered has once again put the process of voting and electing the Ombudsman into an absurd and unnecessary impasse.

There could never have been, and there can never be, a withdrawal from the support given by signature under any circumstances.

Support is required until the moment the list of names and signatures is deposited in the Assembly.
