"Dividedness harms the opposition"/ Duka: DP structures throughout

The leader of the PAA, Agron Duka, commented today on the opposition situation, focusing particularly on the Democratic Party, as the largest party in this front.

Invited to A2 CNN, Duka stated that some possible divisions of the DP do nothing but harm the opposition.

Duka shared the concern that the DP structures across Albania are in a weak state, while suggesting that they should confront the leadership.

"Any kind of split from the DP to go against itself harms the opposition. A movement that can bring improvements in the structure is welcome. If this movement has what was said there, there is no bad intention. The structures of the DP throughout Albania are a scandal, there is no movement, no structure. They are very weak. I have seen them when they have been strong and when they have been weak. This inactivity of the DP would bring about such a movement. They should come out and accuse the leadership. They come out to greet Saliu, make some remarks and in the meantime the DP sends them SMS not to participate. These are splits. Nothing big was said, more was expected", said Duka./CNA
