Berisha case vs. Balluku/Balla case: The freedom of the deputy is not affected

The leader of the SP group, Taulant Balla, invited to the Opinion show, compared the case of Berisha's arrest and the imposition of measures on Balluk.

According to Balla, the Constitution states that no form of freedom of a deputy is affected without the express consent of the Assembly.

"I am loyal to the principle that freedom cannot be affected without the Parliament expressing its opinion. Even due to the severity of the relationship and the conflict of interest that I have filed the report for the person in question, in my assessment the Constitutional Court has not given the best interpretation that even a passport and movement abroad is a form of freedom. The Constitution has stated that no form of freedom of a deputy is affected without the Parliament expressing its opinion.

We are talking about a complaint by the subject to the Constitutional Court, I don't know if the parliament is a party or not.

"When the Assembly is summoned as a party, the Secretary General of the Assembly or someone else who has this power is summoned. If I were a representative of the Assembly, I would say that the freedom of the deputy is not affected without the Assembly expressing its opinion," said Balla./ CNA
