Activist Melisa Braci has published a harsh reaction to Democratic Party MP Ervin Salianji, accusing him of consistently changing political positions and lack of coherence.

In her reaction, Braci recalls a status of Saliani for the Old Republic, saying that it is a manifesto of false morality and the fight against the old identity.

She underlines that Salijanj's relationship with the roots of the DP has always been oblique, as he does not seek catharsis but uprooting.

Braci emphasizes that the roots of the DP cannot be uprooted by those who until yesterday diligently served the purges and today want to be declared saints of catharsis.

Ladies and gentlemen, do you remember the pioneers of 2017?

Those who distributed tracts against the "Old Republic" after Basha had filed the night list, that personal list that undone the entire roots, history, and morality of the Democratic Party?

Do you also remember the videos where they told us with pathos that Basha had brought us into the EU, NATO, and the seventh heaven of integration, cutting off Sali Berisha's face to reconfigure history according to the whims of the next boss?

I believe you also remember this status of Lord Salianji – a true manifesto of false morality and the fight against the "old identity":

"When the bells of fear ring from every gate! The list of the Renaissance with the identity of the Old Republic was unveiled and they met all the criteria. The identity of the deputy of the Old Republic! To boycott the people, to keep the chairs! To speak for the people from the warm halls, but to abandon the people on the streets! The great irony of history is that this text more accurately describes the author than those he purported to hit.

Because the gentle lamb of 2013 became a wolf only when Basha appointed him as an MP.

Because when the Democrats came out against him on January 8 to take their seat, he saw neither fear nor bells - but took a baseball bat and hit them like any government that violates the people when it has the chair under its control.

Because when it came to the purge of well-known figures of the DP, he was there: the first zealot, the ardent pioneer, the trusted man of projects to uproot the party's roots, not for catharsis, but for reconstruction according to the interests of the next.

And today, the same man who cried for the "new Republic", who invented moralisms with the arrogance of an "older" caste against those who were expelled from the party, returns and shows himself to us as a symbol of "change", unity and as the face of catharsis - as if a year in prison and a hair transplant give a man moral authority, integrity and political coherence.

The history of the DP has seen many figures, many battles, many big words. But Salijanj's relationship with the roots of this party has always been oblique:

he does not seek catharsis, he seeks eradication;

does not require re-raising, requires repositioning;

It does not seek morality, it seeks its own pulpit – where words serve to reshape history according to the needs of the moment.

So, before we hear the new bells he promises us today, it is enough to remember the bells he himself rang in 2017 – and the stick he raised in 2021.

History is not forgotten. And the roots of the DP cannot be uprooted by those who until yesterday diligently served the purges and today want to be declared saints of catharsis.

I wonder: Can a figure in the DP ever emerge who accepts and respects the past and on these roots and this trunk sprout fruitful branches!? Is it so impossible!? Why has the philosophy of zeroing taken over the philosophy of every person who claims to receive the DP? / CNA
