"They 'strangled' me because I defended Albin"/ Rama: I

Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted for the second time in a row regarding the violence perpetrated by PDK deputies in the Assembly of Kosovo.

Through an article on social networks, Rama has responded according to him to the voices that say that the Albanian Prime Minister is standing by his counterpart Albin Kurti, as far as this event is concerned.

The number one of the government states that if "parliamentary democracy is based on who shot first, then we have a problem with the meaning of democracy."

Among other things, the prime minister emphasizes that those images damage the reputation of Kosovo and calls for the Kosovo opposition to distance itself from such behavior.

"Friends from Kosovo 'suffocated' me because we did not defend Albini, because Bislimi got the first bottle and it was VV who opened the chapter of violence in the Assembly of Kosovo when he was in the opposition! I don't care who threw the bottle first, maybe you're right, maybe not, but if parliamentary democracy boils down to who threw the first bottle, then we have a problem with the meaning of democracy, and with the meaning of this key moment for Kosovo. which does not owe anyone, I believe, today's scandalous show.

And as someone who knows very well how low Kosovo has fallen in the eyes of the entire democratic world due to the wrong approach of its government, I still think that what happened today is shameful and I am convinced that the justification of that ugliness is not it helps, it is damaging Kosovo's reputation even more, that's why I said and I say again that I wish the opposition to distance itself from such ugliness", writes Rama./ CNA.al
