The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has made strong accusations against the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, who refused yesterday that the meeting of the Council of Mandates for the former deputy prime minister Arben Ahmetaj be held with open doors, with the claim of investigative secrecy.
During a conference with journalists, Berisha raised allegations that Dumani wanted to save the image of Prime Minister Edi Rama and therefore did not accept the presence of the media at the meeting.
According to him, the head of SPAK was worried that the session would turn into a session of unmasking and branding.
"He asked for a session with closed doors to save Edi Rama's face. There was trouble that the session of the Council of Mandates would turn into a session of unmasking and branding.
I have no inclination towards those who try to lay down the law, never, quite the contrary. I have and will have the most determined attitude towards those who manipulate the law and kick it", said the chairman of the DP./ CNA.al
