Requests for the concession of Butrint / The Constitutional Court "overthrows" Ina Zhupa

The Constitutional Court has rejected 4 out of 5 demands of the DP deputy, Ina Zhupa, regarding the Butrint park concession.

Zhupa had requested that the communications of the Republic of Albania with UNESCO, in the years 2019-2023, the minutes of all the visits of UNESCO representatives to our country, the procedures followed by the Ministry of Culture for the selection be made available to the issue of board members, the summoning of witnesses and the summoning as parties of the representatives of the Albanian-American foundation AADF, as well as the suspension of the law on the concession of Butrint.

But the Constitutional Court rejected these requests. The only point that the Court has accepted is that of receiving UNESCO's communications with the government./ CNA.al
