In the plenary session, tensions were recorded again. The opposition continued to persistently demand the presence of Prime Minister Edi Rama in the Parliament to discuss the accusations against MP Arben Ahmetaj.
But Speaker Lindita Nikolla called the head of the CEC, IIlirjan Celibashi, to the lectern to give a report on the election process.
As the latter began to speak, the opposition caused chaos by shooting at the tables. Afterwards, the DP deputies headed towards the pulpit, while the Guard of the Republic immediately intervened.
