Even today's meeting of the Council of Mandates for the immunity of former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj was accompanied by a "clash" between the opposition and the majority.

Sources from the meeting inform CNA that the opposition MP, Gazment Bardhi, had a heated debate with Speaker of Parliament Lindita Nikolla.

Bardhi requested that the issue of Ahmetaj's mandate be included in the agenda of the parliamentary session tomorrow.

But the President of the Assembly has announced that although the report on the case of the former deputy prime minister will be ready, it will not be included in the agenda tomorrow.

Nikolla stated that the report will be examined in next week's senate, which was not well received by the PD deputy.

"You are collaborating in crime, don't give Arben Ahmetaj more time to hide. Boll dragged the matter on. To be included in the agenda of tomorrow's plenary session and to authorize the prosecution to act. Do not obstruct justice. The opposition has the report ready, let's act without any delay, consider and approve tomorrow", stressed Bardhi./ CNA.al
